The forms ask for what we need to reply or to send the briefing. This notice is a working draft for legal review, including under Singapore’s personal data rules.
Working draft for legal review. This page is not a substitute for advice from qualified counsel and should be reviewed before the publication relies on it.
Who we are
StartupMedia360, 9 Tampines Grande, Asia Green, #02-00, Singapore 528735. Email talk@startupmedia360.com.
Forms
The newsletter form collects an email address and a record of consent. The contact form collects a name, email, topic, and message. Submit news also collects an organisation if you give one, the tip, and where the facts can be checked. A hidden field is there to catch automated submissions and should be left empty.
Submissions are stored so the desk can act on them, and, when an email provider is configured, sent to talk@startupmedia360.com. We do not sell these addresses. Newsletter addresses are used to send the briefing. Contact details are used to respond. Tips are used to decide whether a story can be verified.
How long
We keep submissions while we need them to operate the briefing, complete a story, or meet a legal duty, and then we delete or de-identify them. You can ask us to remove an address by emailing talk@startupmedia360.com.
Analytics
The default installation does not load an analytics script and does not set an analytics cookie. If a privacy-conscious measurement tool is later switched on with an environment variable, this page will be updated before that tool is treated as part of the published promise. We do not show traffic numbers on the site.
Processors
If Resend or Mailchimp keys are configured, those companies process the relevant message or subscription on our instruction. Their own terms apply to that processing. Without the keys, the submission stays in the publication’s own store.
