Peak XV Partners, with the firm’s claims set beside the reporting

Two kinds of sentence

A useful profile of Peak XV Partners is mostly a filing system. Some sentences were reported by someone outside the firm. Some sentences are the firm describing itself. This page does not sand them into one voice.

The independent report in this archive is Bloomberg’s, dated 20 February 2026: Peak XV raised $1.3 billion across three funds to invest in AI and consumer startups in India and Southeast Asia. That story is written up separately as a fund close. It is not a Peak XV press release restated in our type.

What the firm says

On its about page, Peak XV traces a line from Sequoia Capital India in 2006, through an expansion in Southeast Asia, to independence under the Peak XV name in 2023. It describes its investing geography as India, the wider Asia-Pacific region, and the United States.

The same page is the source for three scale claims that this newsroom has not re-audited:

  • More than $10 billion in assets under management
  • More than 450 investments
  • 36 IPOs

Those numbers are printed because readers will meet them, and because leaving them unlabelled would let a firm total masquerade as our finding. They are firm claims. The structured profile repeats them in a table with that basis stated.

Portfolio examples, and only examples

Peak XV’s own site has presented portfolio companies that include Supabase, CRED, and Freshworks. That is a set of examples from the firm, not a complete portfolio, and not a StartupMedia360 opinion about those companies. Supabase is in this archive for a different reason: TechCrunch and Accel documented a $200 million Series D in April 2025, and the prior Series C, in September 2024, was led by Peak XV and Craft.

CRED and Freshworks are not given profiles here. Naming them as the firm’s examples is as far as the sourced record in this launch archive goes.

What this page will not do

It will not invent a Singapore street address for the firm because the franchise is associated with the region. It will not list limited partners in the 2026 funds. It will not treat the three funds as a single vehicle with one strategy beyond the mandate Bloomberg reported. It will not score the firm’s returns.

The point of the page is narrower, and more useful: a reader can see which sentence came from Bloomberg, which sentence came from Peak XV, and which sentence we refused to write.
